Old Doha

Old Doha Miniature is a large-scale public installation commissioned for Old Doha Port, reimagining the city of Doha as it existed between the 1930s and 1950s. Entirely 3D printed using recycled plastic and finished by hand, the project translates historical research, architecture, everyday life and urban memory into an immersive physical landscape.

Developed over more than a two years of design, prototyping and fabrication, the work brings together digital technology and craftsmanship at an unprecedented scale. Recognised as the world’s largest 3D printed miniature, it stands as both a tribute to the city’s past and a vision for how heritage can be reinterpreted through contemporary making.
