Silhouette is a lighting collection exploring the archetypal lamp reduced to its essential outline: a cone emerging from a cylinder, where light defines the object as much as the object defines the light. Familiar in memory yet contemporary in execution, the piece transforms a universal typology into a quiet sculptural presence.
Produced entirely in Doha, from concept development and digital modelling to fabrication and final assembly, the project reflects Studio Soumer’s commitment to local design and manufacturing. Visible layer lines and surface textures are intentionally preserved, revealing the lamp’s 3D-printed origin and celebrating the traces of its making.
